The 18 volt Lithium Makita Battery is ideally suited for this application offering high torque and speed for quick and easy starts in a light weight package. The battery slides onto and locks in place with the adapter as it would with any Makita tool. The Mount is easy to install. For Sullivan brand starters some different fasteners are needed so it is important to order your adapter to fit the starter motor you have or choose.
